Project Manager

Utility Line Services, Inc. (ULS) is a full service underground utility contractor focused on delivering cost effective solutions to facilitate customer project requirements. Aggressively managing projects to ensure timely installation and quality service, Utility Line Services capitalizes on the extensive knowledge and experience of its employees to provide turnkey design engineering and construction services to the utility industry. ULS is seeking a drafter experienced in mechanical piping to expand our team currently working on pipeline projects. This individual will have previous experience in a related pipeline or utility industry and must be committed to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

  • Establish and maintain the project implementation process to assure timely and cost effective solutions for the design and construction of pipelines and compressor stations
  • Manage and track sub consultants and vendors to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of information and equipment.
  • Management of the permitting process to ensure the required permits are submitted for approval on time with complete and accurate project information.

Requirements include:

  • Expertise in design of pipeline (liquids and gas), compressor station, pump stations, and other mechanical aspects of the pipeline industry.
  • 5-10 years of Project Management Experience in the Gas and Oil Industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of the permitting requirements of the PA DEP.
  • Prior experience managing multifaceted projects up to $20MM.
  • B.S. in Engineering/Project management.
  • Oversight and development of RFQ´s required for the construction of pipeline and compressor/pumping stations.
  • Responsible for the project strategy, budget, internal/external resources, project schedule, and communication with the Project Director and client.
  • Knowledge and experience in Project Management principals and methodologies related to pipeline and station construction projects.
  • Monitors and directs team members insuring required tasks are completed timely, efficiently, and completely.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years experience in Project Management of Pipeline and related facilities design and construction. Successful candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills.
